It’s no secret that over the past couple seasons that the Unique Racing GXP has been the team to beat in the field after a few dominant seasons in their Pontiac which has not gone unnoticed by the other competitors when JTS Racing’s Omar Sedmak got out of his Dodge after the first qualifying session at the Australia Day nationals and said “ we are gunning for ya Rob”. With the arival of Omar Sedmak as a front runner, he could be a challenge for Dekert. Could things get shaken up at the top end of Pro Stock?
Qualifying 3rd at the Australia Day Nationals the JTS racing Dodge was in a prime position to take good points from the all run format come Saturday but the weather Gods had better ideas. The team had intentions of taking down Dekert, clawing back vital points early in the championship after a mishap forced the team to withdrawl from the first round of the championship. The team feels the car is sorted coming into the third round of the championship at the Riverbend Nationals at Dragway at The Bend come April 5-7 where the JTS racing team and the rest of the Pro Stock bracket will be chasing down Dekert . Will the new track give a level playing field to the whole Pro Stock bracket ?
