Aaron Smith in his Mopar Mover Motorsport tribute Reischl and Gilmore Charger will be in attendance at the Nostalgia Drags this weekend. With the other cars competing being from the 90’s era, Aaron’s ‘Mopar Mover’ will be flying the flag for the 70’s & 80’s era of Pro Stock. Starting life as an E38 RT it was then built for Pro Stock in 1974 by Bob Reischl and Billy Gilmore. Racing throughout the 70’s and 80’s in Pro Stock and then made the switch to Super Stock duties to race B/G and C/G with a new owner.


Cars with history in Australian Pro Stock is what this class is trying to attract and Aaron has pledged to be a regular contender in the Bracket if it gains traction and more events are locked in. he also has not stated exactly how he will win biggest showman but we know that he has the intentions to bring home that trophy. When asked how he intends to win the trophy he said “Life is too short to drive boring cars, come to the meeting and I’ll show you”.
“The car has undergone a complete restoration keeping in mind the cars past heritage but at the same time to compete in today’s sportsman classes. It was a team effort by my dad, eldest son Connor and myself to get the car where it is now, not to mention the financial support from Courtney’.
