SHANE TUCKER BACK ON AUS SOIL TO TAKE ON THE WINTERNATIONALS WITH NEW TEAM.

Shane Tucker will be back racing on home soil in the Klip Payments GXP for the Winter warm ups and Winternationals. Team owner Nick Pellicciotti has entrusted Shane to take the wheel for the Upcoming 56th Gulf Western Oil Winternationals. “I’m excited to get back on home turf, racing competitively and with friends is something I have missed doing” said Shane Tucker.

When Nick Pellicciotti expressed his interest in going Pro Stock racing with the Tucker’s, he was advised by Shane to purchase a car that he knew well, Shane’s ex RJ’s GXP originally driven in 2013. “I originally asked Shane as a joke and 2 years later here we are” said team owner Nick Pellicciotti.

The teams engine which was finished one month ago by Rob Tucker and arrived into the country last week. However, after being held up in customs the team only gained access to their engine on Friday. They have thrashed to be able to make it to the warm ups but are ready to go.

I don’t think this would be possible without the help of Rob and Shane Tucker, the knowledge that comes with them on the car is second to none” said Nick Pellicciotti. Nick Plans to get into the car after the Winternationals and plans to compete in Pro Stock next year. Having done his apprenticeship in Super Street and then Super Sedan, Nick’s goal has always been to race Pro Stock and now with the assistance of the Tucker’s it will happen.

The now Pro Stock Veteran Shane Tucker does not want to speculate on any numbers that the car will produce. However, Shane and this car have won a previous edition of the Winternationals together so he is without doubt hoping the car will be fast going into this years Winternationals. The team will be using the Winter warm ups to get the car and driver acclimated again.

The wealth of knowledge in both Rob and Shane Tucker definitely has been missed in Australian Pro Stock field and will be back for this years instalment of the Winternationals which is already shaping up to be a memorable one, Could we see the first 6 second 8 car field in Pro Stock?
