Wayne Daley is a presence that has been missed in the Pro Stock pits for a little under two years but he will be on track at the Winternationals in less than two weeks’ time. The team will be one of 12 cars entered to try and get into what will be the tightest 8 car field of the event. However, while having a break from racing the team have started a new engine development program with Toca Performance/Tony O’Connor and after sufficient dyno time the team have expectations of being competitive.
Last time the Dodge Dart was on track was 2022’s Winternationals which the team took two wins from three and only lost the B final due to a red light. However, the Winternationals this year will feature the traditional elimination format and as such, the team are testing this weekend at the Winter warm up’s to ensure they hit the ground running come Q1. Wayne hopes “that it will all come back to me naturally”. Being one of the most experienced Pro Stock Drivers in the field next weekend, Wayne Daley Motorsports will definitely be the team to watch over the weekend.
Pro Stock will be joined by Top Fuel, Funny Car, Top Doorslamer, Pro Alcohol, Pro Mod, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Top Fuel Motorcycle aswell as a full field of the Aeroflow Sportsman Championship.
